DENVER, December 6, 2025 (BUSINESS WATCH GLOBAL) — Data infrastructure company Vantage Data Centers, a global provider of hyperscale data center campuses, has announced the appointment of Robin Balen as chief product officer. Balen will lead the company’s newly established product organization and will oversee global product strategy, partnering across regions to support hyperscale and AI-focused customers.
According to the company, the creation of a standalone product division represents a new phase in Vantage’s growth and is intended to coordinate innovation across engineering, design, and delivery teams. Balen, who will be based in London and report to Executive Vice President Jeff Tench, brings more than 25 years of experience in developing hyperscale infrastructure.
Balen previously founded Gyron in 2000, a UK data center business later acquired by NTT, where he spent nearly two decades scaling the platform and serving in senior leadership roles. Most recently, he worked as principal at Asymptote Solutions, advising operators and investors on next-generation infrastructure, product design, and large-scale delivery models for cloud and AI providers.
