In his dual role, Rose will oversee the company’s legal and commercial operations, supporting expansion across energy and infrastructure initiatives. His responsibilities include structuring strategic partnerships, advancing capital formation, and executing transactions related to QII’s integrated power and infrastructure platforms. He will report to Chad Williams, chairman and chief executive officer of QII.
“We’re building real assets in real markets, and that demands leaders who are comfortable making decisions and advancing complex projects. Alex brings a long track record of operating real estate businesses and delivering critical infrastructure, and we’re excited to have his leadership as we continue to scale QII,” said Chad Williams, Chairman and CEO of QII.
Rose previously served as a partner at Kirkland & Ellis LLP, where he advised on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, recapitalizations, and strategic investments. He most recently held the position of general counsel at Ashford Inc. and its affiliated public companies, overseeing legal, governance, and compliance functions.
“Complex projects succeed when the commercial, legal and operational pieces move together. QII has built a platform designed to create that alignment early, reduce uncertainty and support consistent execution. That’s a foundation I’m excited to help strengthen as the company scales,” said Alex Rose, General Counsel and Chief Commercial Officer of QII.
