HOUSTON, February 23, 2026 (BUSINESS WATCH GLOBAL) — Healthcare provider, Legacy Community Health, has announced the appointment of Aaron Stewart as Chief Operating Officer.
Stewart joins during a period of expansion. Legacy recently added two new School-Based Health Care clinics and also plans to open new community clinics in Acres Homes and Pasadena this year.
Stewart most recently served as Regional Administrator at Houston Methodist, where he oversaw a multi-million dollar regional portfolio and multiple service lines. Prior to that, he was Market Chief Operating Officer at VillageMD, managing multi-site operations and working to improve clinical access, provider performance, and financial sustainability. Earlier roles in renal care also contributed to his leadership experience.
“Aaron brings a proven ability to strengthen operations and support teams, along with a deep commitment to community-based care. We are confident he will help guide Legacy through its next chapter,” said Robert Palussek, Chief Executive Officer of Legacy Community Health.

Stewart holds a Master of Health Care Administration from Strayer University and a Bachelor of Business Administration from North Carolina Central University.
