ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 21, 2025 (BUSINESS WATCH GLOBAL) — Insurance provider 5Star Life Insurance Company has announced the appointment of John D. Naum as Chief Financial Officer, effective July 21, 2025.

Naum joins 5Star Life with more than two decades of experience in the insurance and financial services industry. Most recently, he served as Associate Vice President of Finance at United Educators Insurance, where he supported the CFO in overseeing financial strategy, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and investment management. His previous roles include Chief Financial Officer at Loggerhead, Vice President of Finance at Northern Neck Insurance, and finance leadership positions at Allianz, Genworth, DXC Technology, and the Florida Office of Insurance Regulation.

Naum holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance from Florida State University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
