BuzzFeed Appoints Stanley E. Washington to Board of Directors

BuzzFeed has appointed Stanley E. Washington to its Board of Directors, where he will chair the Compensation Committee following the departure of Greg Coleman.
NEW YORK, July 16, 2026, (VSNewsNetwork.com) — BuzzFeed has appointed Stanley E. Washington as an independent member of its Board of Directors, effective July 16.
Washington will serve on the company's Audit Committee, Nominating, Corporate Governance and Corporate Responsibility Committee, and Compensation Committee, where he has been named chair.
The appointment coincides with the departure of Greg Coleman, who has served on BuzzFeed's Board of Directors since the company's 2021 business combination and most recently chaired the Compensation Committee.

Washington is President and Chief Executive Officer of Pantheon Global Services Inc., an investment and advisory firm focused on fintech, payments and commercial real estate development. Earlier in his career, he held leadership positions at American Express and served as Chief Revenue Officer of LogicMark.
He also serves as Board Chairman of The Center by Lendistry and as a director of Atlanta Life Insurance Company. Washington is a Trustee Emeritus of Morehouse College and holds a bachelor's degree in marketing from the institution.
