Banner Bank Promotes Dan Oxford to Executive Vice President and Chief Risk Officer

WALLA WALLA, Wash., October 18, 2025 (BUSINESS WATCH GLOBAL)Banner Bank has announced the promotion of Dan Oxford to Executive Vice President and Chief Risk Officer. In this expanded leadership role, Oxford will oversee enterprise-wide risk management, including enterprise risk, model risk, climate risk, compliance, financial crimes, fraud, vendor risk, appraisal, and credit review. He will also chair the bank’s Risk Management Oversight Committee.

Oxford joined Banner Bank in 2010 and has held several leadership roles with increasing responsibility, most recently serving as Senior Vice President, Risk Services Director & Chief Appraiser. Over the past 15 years, he’s helped strengthen the bank’s risk frameworks and advance regulatory readiness.

Oxford earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Northwest University and an MBA from Gonzaga University. He is a graduate of the Pacific Coast Banking School and holds professional designations as a Member of the Appraisal Institute (MAI) and a Certified Appraisal Specialist (AI-GRS).

Oxford will report to the Board of Directors’ Risk Committee as well as to Costa. The Chief Risk Officer position was previously held by Costa.
