AUSTIN, Texas, June 9, 2025 (BUSINESS WATCH GLOBAL) — Employment platform company Indeed has appointed James Whitemore as Chief Marketing Officer. Whitemore will join the company’s senior leadership team and report to Chief Revenue Officer Maggie Hulce.

Whitemore will oversee Indeed’s global marketing functions, including brand, industry, lifecycle, country, field marketing, global communications, and the Indeed Hiring Lab. According to Indeed, his focus will be on engagement with job seekers and employers while advancing hiring solutions.

Whitemore has more than 25 years of experience in marketing and sales leadership. He most recently served as Chief Marketing & Growth Officer at Celigo, a cloud integration platform, where he led marketing and sales strategy. He previously held leadership roles at NetApp, IBM Europe, Intrado, and Sun Microsystems.
