BIRMINGHAM, Ala., March 14, 2025 (BUSINESS WATCH GLOBAL) — Insurance company Protective Life Corporation has announced leadership promotions that will take effect on January 1, 2026. Paul Wells has been appointed President and Chief Financial Officer, and Wade Harrison has been named Vice Chairman and Chief Operating Officer.

Wells will lead a unified financial organization that now includes investments and acquisitions, a structure the company says will strengthen collaboration around Protective’s long-term strategy. Harrison will continue overseeing retail businesses, operations, technology, and marketing, while taking on an expanded enterprise-wide role to support strategic alignment.
