LOS ANGELES, December 26, 2025 (BUSINESS WATCH GLOBAL) — Lifestyle products company WHY Brands Inc. has announced the promotion of Ashley Gu to Chief Financial Officer.
Gu previously served as Chief Accounting Officer after joining Munchkin Inc. — a WHY subsidiary — in 2018 as Vice President of Accounting and Finance. In her new role, Gu will oversee financial strategy, reporting, and organizational governance.
“Ashley is a highly accomplished finance and accounting leader with deep institutional knowledge and a strong track record of execution. She has earned the trust of our leadership team through her disciplined approach, technical expertise, and collaborative style. Gu’s background includes senior finance roles at Ajinomoto Windsor Foods, Luxfer Inc., and Miller Brewing Company. Her experience spans capital structure initiatives, IPO readiness, manufacturing costing, ERP implementation, and global tax planning across multinational operations.

At Munchkin, and now at WHY, I’ve had the opportunity to strengthen our financial infrastructure, leverage data and technology, and partner closely with teams across the organization.
